POWERS OF FINANCE MINISTER. WELLINGTON OPPOSITION. f Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, June 23. Condemnation of the powers conferred upon the Atinistcr of Finance by the Hawke’s Bay Earthquake Act passed during the emergency session of Parliament, was expressed by tho council of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce this evening. The matter was referred to the associated chambers for action.
