SAFE BLOWN OPEN
ROBBERY AT ASHHURST. I Per Press Association. I PALM ERISTON N., Juno 22. During the week-end the door of the safe at tho Ashhurst railway station was blown open with gelignite and £3 in cash was taken. Nearby residents heard a faint explosion at 2 a.m. yesterday. The burglars gained entry to the building by smashing a window. This is the fourth and only successful attempt on tho safe over a period of years.
