The La Tierra, which is the organ of the Leftists, alleges that there is a strong movement among the Roman Catholic radical elements of northern Spain to place Don Jaime on the throne. Funds and munitions have been accumulated for tho purpose. Don Jaime is a descendant of the pretender Don Carlos, whose supporters are constantly crossing the frontier from their headquarters at Bayonne.
