OHAKEA M.R. CUP First class scores were a feature of the shooting at Ohakoa on Monday night, live “possibles” being registered, and the top eight men only dropping 22 points. Scores wore as follows:
ENTERTAINERS ■ ’ CLUB Although the notice was short, there was a good attendance at Monday evening’s meeting called to discuss the proposal to resuscitate the old entertainers’ club in Bulls. Mr Wm. Dean presided, and a motion “That a Bulls Entertainers’ Club be formed, and that the first concert be in aid of the Bulls school funds” was carried unanimously.
Election of officers. The following were then elected: Patron, Mr J. Uampiou; president, Mr C. Edwards; vice-presidents, Dr. F J Watson and Messrs P. A. Holland, ' C H T h H- Olson - J ’ G ' B - Si g°ai; J. h. Walker, J. Carter, J. Ellery, T. Holdom. and 8. Rich; joint organisers, Messrs V. Edwards and A. Signal; secretary, Mr Wm. Dean; treasurer Mr U. E. Bailey; committee, the president, secretary, treasurer, organisers and Messrs Rich and S. Goebel with power to add. ’

Field, J. Holland', L. Ransom, A. Eseott, G. Grosland, I. Bevan, K. Bromley and P. Governor. GENERAL Alterations are in progress at the local post office to make the building reasonably safe against earthquake. The clock tower, which is faced with brick, will bo removed and wood substituted, while the numerous tall briek chimneys are to be cut down to within a few feet of the roof. (Continued on Page 12).
