GIRL FRIEND HOLDS TICKET MR GAMBLE’S WHEREABOUTS [ Per Press Assrciatlon. ] AUCKLAND, June 15. Air Roy Cambie, aged 29, who has been announced as the holder of the winning ticket in tho art union, does not actually hold it, the ticket being in the possession of an Auckland typ istn foi a big firm. She states that she is friendly with Air Cambie though not engaged to him. He left Wellington for Auckland by the Limited, but so far has not been seen, though the girl states that he is in the city. His travelling companion declares that he left the train to proceed to Wanganui. As Frankton was the last stopping place before Auckland, Air Cambie may have disembarked there to proceed to Tc Kauwhata, where it is understood his people live. Air Cambie was here foi nine years before his transfer to Wellington i 8 months ago.
