UNLUCKY AIRWOMAN
MRS KEITH MILLER AGAIN MACHINE BADLY WRECKED Received Dee. 15. 9.40 p.m. NEW YORK, Dec. .15At Jacksonville, Florida, owing to a faulty gasoline pumn which caused the motor to stop, Mrs Keith Miller, w’hen departing for a short flight, crashed from a 50ft altitude. She was unhurt, but the wings and undercarriage of her machine were wrecked. The accident was witnessed by Mr Bert Hinkler, who had just arrived from Npw' York in a Moth ’plane with the wife of a prominent cartoonist, John Held Junior, whom Hinkler is teaching to fly.
