SOME GOOD SCORING [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 16. The cricket competition was continued yesterday in fine but windy weather. Riccarton made 242 and 108 for 4 (Cox 49 not out) and lost to Lancaster Park 254 (Dryden 68, Wcad 48). West Christchurch 219 (Kerr 139, not out) and 147 for six (Allen 59), beat Old Boys, who made 174 and 189 for nine (declared). Merritt made 65 and Grose 52, and Hill took six wickets for 50. For Old Boys Merritt took seven for 94 and four for 79. Sydenham 307 (Oliver 66) beat Old Collegians, who made 221 (Lester 56, Talbot 64; Patrick took five for 52). East Christchurch 226 (Kennedy 66) beat St. Albans, who made 167 and 261 for three (Crawford, not out, 127, and Condliffe 73).
