FATHER AND SON DIE AN INQUEST AT PATEA [Per Press Association.] HAWERA, Nov. 14. A verdict in accordance with the medical evidence was returned at an inquest at Patea to-day on William Henry Moore, aged 24, of Hawcra, and his father, William Sturrock Moore, aged 55, of Blenheim, who died in the Patea Hospital subsequent to the capsize of a car near Moumahaki on September 15.

Moore junr., succumbed the following morning to a fractured skull. Moore senr. died on November 12 from myocardial degeneration accelerated by the shock of the accident. The pair were travelling south with John E. Jones, professional boxer, in a small car belonging to Jones, who stated in evidence that Moore junr. took over the wheel shortly before reaching the scene of the accident, which occurred as the result, of a skid on a gresy patch of the road. Jones escaped injury.
