OBITUARY
BISHOP OF NEWCASTLE LONDON, July 9. The death is reported of Dr. Long. Bishop of Newcastle. He became d: last night after Lambeth Conference and died in hospital from cerebral haemorrhage. A Sydney message states that Dr. Long was one of the foremost men ?.n Australian church life. He was made a Commander of the British Empire in 1919.
