EFFICIENCY IN INDUSTRY [ Per Press Association ] AUCKLAND, Sept. 30. At the annual dinner of the Auckland Typographical Union, Mr C. H. Chapman, M.P., said that the time was ripe for the formation of a joint council of employers and employees in the printing industry. The watch-word of such council should be efficiency, and it could bo expected to consider a scheme of superannuation, provision for those in the industry who were unemployed, and many other matters of interest to those engaged in the various branches of printing.
