Jeering Strikers
SYDNEY LABOUR TROUBLE CHARGE BY~THE POLICE [ Australian Press Assn. ] Received April 16, 11 p.m. {SYDNEY, April 16. Volunteer labourers to-day attempted to drive loaded timber jinkers out of Moor’s timber yard at South Melbourne. Mounted police preceded them, but mobs of strikers closed around the jinkers, threw stones anj jeered at the police, who charged with batons. The strikers ran in all directions.
