BIG PREPARATIONS AT HOLLYWOOD

THE PRODUCTION OF “HIGH TREASON.” Three of the largest sets ever con strncted for motion pictures have been built at the Paramount studio for use in the production of the picture “High Treason.” formerly called “The Patriot.” They consist of a corridor and grand staircase; a throne room copied after the original in the Palac*of St. Michael in St. Petersburg, now Leningrad, and •* section of the main thoroughfare leading to the palace, flanked by massive buildings on each side. The street set occupied the studio construction forces for nearly two months and when seen on the screen will be one of the most impressive ever built in Hollywood. P is over five hundred yards in length. with something like seventy stone buildings, two, three and four storeys in height, on each side.
