The screen version, which has been given the original title, will be shown at the New Grand Theatre to-night. Fox Films, in being the first motion picture concern to bring the works of the noted English author to the screen, made a happy choice when they selected “Marriage” for picti-ri-zation. For here is a story that pierces the mysteries of matrimony. A story that points out just why there is so much unhappiness among those who should* be happy. “Marriage,” in brief, tells the story of the clash of two entertainments. An idealistic young inventor marries a. verv materialistic young woman. Bui when financial difficulties arise, trouble looms. It is only after the wife arrives at the conclusion that unselfish love is a prime requisite to married life that the pair fin.l real happiness. The film drives home a great lesson without preaching.
