PRISONERS FOR TRIAL NUMEROUS OFFENCES [ Per Press Association 1 CHRISTCHURCH, April 20. At the Supreme Court prisoners sentenced by Judge Adams were Cecil William Hector Isaacs for in decent assault, reformative detention for one year; Kenneth Kay, aged 22, for theft, nine months gaol; Arthur Schenkel, aged 19, for theft, probation for two years; Alfred Charles Welman, for housebreaking and theft, nine months’ gaol. Ira Francis Bishell, for forged receipt, two years probation; Leonard Charles Haskell, for housebreaking, six months’ gaol, to be followed by two years reformative detention.
