ENTERING AND THEFT
INSTANCES TOO COMMON. [ Per Press Association. ] CHRISTCHURCH, April 20. At Ihe Supreme Court George Tretheway and John Brisbane on series of burglary and theft charges were sentenced to three years’ and eighteen months gaol respectively. Judge Adams said that such crimes were becoming too common. Troth eway had a bad record and the offences were of a serious nature.
