TE KAWAU RUGBY SUB-UNION L /Special “Chronicle” Service. ] A meeting of the management committee of the Rugby Union was held on Thursday night. In the .bsence of the president (Mr 11. J. Fagan) Mr T. Goodwin was voted to the chair. The acting secretary reported that nominations had been received as folI lows:— -Senior.—Orona Downs, Bongotea, Awahuri, Hui Mai (Sandon). Junior.—Oroua Downs, Rongotea, Awahuri, Huia (Rangiotu). Thirds.—Rongotea, Awahuri, Hula, Hui Mai. Mr F. W. Tostevin was appointed honorary secretary and treasurer. Messrs C. Eglinton, D. Koster and the secretary were appointed a fixtures committee, with a recommendation to draw up fixtures for the first, two rounds. The appointment of selectors for rep teams w’as held over until the next meeting. An application from the Ccntial Club to change its name to Rongotea was granted. Huia Club (Rangiotu) applied for the re-instatement of Poto and this was granted. It was resolved that in the event of any club having members attending camp, the playing of games in which they are interested may be arranged
