MUSSOLINI ADAMANT REPLY TO POPE’S SPEECH. (A. & N.Z.) ROME, March 28. Signor Mussolini, replying to the Pope, emphatically refused to renounce the monopoly on the education of youth, which was one of the Government’s fundamental duties. He said he might abolish even the few remaining Catholic institutions. In this he is believed to have been referring to the Boy Scouts.
