RAIN IN AUSTRALIA
FLOODS REPORTED JIUCII LOSS OF STOCK AND CROPS {A. & N.Z.) BRISBANE, March 30. Heavy and continuous raiu flooded the Barwou and Weir rivers between Wallangarra and Tallwood. causing extensive damage, and drown ng many rattle. A Melbourne message states that floods on the hillside of the Calulu district destroyed the entire maize crop, valued at £30.000. The rain has now ceased and the threatened floods in the Riverina have been avterted.
