OBITUARY. MR. R. J. MARSH. [ Special "Chroniclo” Service, j The death occurred at an early hour yesterday morning of Air Robert John Marsh, a well-known farmer and business man of Ohingaiti. The cause of death was pneumonia, pleurisy and bronchitis.
He was taken ill last Friday and although he had every attention there was no hope, and he passed away as stated.
The late Air Alarsh was born in Rangitikei 41 years ago and had lived in the district all his life. He married a daughter of the late Air Richard Hammond, and his widow and a family of six are left.
A footballer in his younger days, the late Air Alarsh took a keen interest in the game, and he was associated with all other sports and movements for the welfare of Ohingaiti and district. The deceased was a grandson of the late Air John Gower and prior to commencing farming on his own account ho worked for his uncle, Air R. A. Gower, at Ohingaiti.
The funeral will take place at Ohin gaiti cemetery to-day.
