HEAVY RAINS
DANGER OF FLOODS WARNINGS ISSUED IN N S.W. (A. & N.Z.) SYDNEY, March 28. With the exception of the extreme western areas, heavy rain has fallen in the past few days over the whole State. In the north-west and south-west districts flood warnings have been issued, and already parts of Barraba are under water. Several business places have suffered severely.
Heavy rains at Junee practically destroyed the huge swarms of grasshoppers which threatened the town.
