PETITION TO PARLIAMENT REQUEST FOR PETROL TAX. In the House of Commons a petition was presented on behalf of 920.000 motor owners in favour of the substitution of a petrol tax for a horse-power Mr J. S. Wardlaw (Con.) introduced a Bill compelling motor owners to insure against third party risks.
