ROYAL HOUSES UNITE

SAVOY AND ORLEANS BRILLIANT SCENE AT NAPLES. (A. & N.Z.) ROME, Nov. 8. Scenes of mediaeval splendour marked the wedding at Naples of Prince Amaded, Duke of Apulia and cousin of the King of Italy, to Princess Anne, daughter of Le Due de Guise, Pretender to the Throne of France. The union of the houses of Savoy and Orleans, attracted a glittering as-' sembly, wearing the uniforms of their highest army ranks, and a host of princes and princesses. Naples was indescribably gay. The procession of gilded coaches through the decorated streets, lined with half a million spectators, in glorious sunshine will long be remembered. The princess’ dress was of ivory white satin with a veil of Chantilly lace which had been worn by her mother at her wedding.
