AN AMALGAMATION
NAVAL SHIP BUILDERS VICKERS AND ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH COMPANIES Received Nov. 4, 11 pm. (A. & NJZ.) LONDON, Nov. 4. The Vickers and Armstrong Whitworth companies, after several months’ negotiations, 'have signed a provisional agreement to amalgamate the naval shipbuilding and heavy armament sections of their businesses.
