FRENCH POLITICS
NEW PARTY FORMED AN IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT Received Nov. 4. 8.50 p.m. (A. & N.Z.) LONDON, Nov. 4. The Daily Mail’s Paris correspondent states that M. Frankin Bouillon has quitted the Radical Socialist Party and resigned the presidency of the Foreign A ffairs Committee, and is forming a new party entitled the Radical Unionists, which will be devoted to the maintenance of the National Union as essential to France’s security. The provinces will probably follow suit, inaugurating the most important political split for 30 years. Mr Bouillon declared that the Radical Socialists repudiated the National Union, which saved France from disaster, inasmuch a. 3 they allied themselves unconditionally with the Socialists who were committed to support the evacuation of the Rhineland and Germany’s absorption of Austria. TTiis would be very dangerous to France, ensuring certain war within ten years.
