FOOTBALL. [ Special “ Chronicle ” Service. 1 Waitotara and Rauru met on the Domain here on Saturday last, and a well contested game ended in a drawn game, three points all. G. Canterbury scored for Waitotara and Karipa for Rauru. Air Burr was referee. The following team have been selected to play Waitotara at an early date: —Full-back, W. Bowring; threequarters: Parkinson, Butterworth and Wroe; five-eighths: Hurley and Day; half: Grove; forwards: wing, Sullivan; hookers, McConiehe and Clark, Harting, Newman, Laird, Munro and Williams. Emergencies: Holloway and Watson.
