A SOCIETY ROMANCE HEIRESS TO WED BARRISTER. Received May 19, 7 p.m. (A. and N.Z.) LONDON, May 18. Lady Marcella Duggan, aged 19, the daughter of the Marchioness of Curzon and heiress to £4,000,000 was married to Mr Edward Rice, a young barrister. The marriage is the culmination of a romance. The Marchioness at first refused her consent, and denied the engagement. The girl pleaded for a fortnight, and finally won her mother’s consent.
