CAPTAIN NUNGESSER
MESSAGES IN BOTTLES ONLY A HOAX. Received May 19, 11 p.m. (A. and N.Z.) LONDON, May 19. Two bottles, enclosing messages, have been washed up at Boulogne and Falmouth, purporting to come from Captain Nungesser, indicating that the aeroplane fell into the sea. The Air Ministry declares the messages to bo a hoax.
