The mystery of the disappearance of the child Irma Timms remains unsolved, despite a diligent search by detectives and organised parties of seekers. Irma Timms disappeared from the ken of her parents at Keppell Street, New Brighton, over five months ago, and no trace of her. has been discovered. She was subject to fits and was afraid of the sea. * The beach, sandhills, and plantations have ’been combed in search for the girl, but nothing was found.
