PLAYERS FOR ENGLAND REQUEST FOR A CLEARANCE [Per Prcij Association.] AUCKLAND, May 17. The application of L. Brown, New Zealand League football representative, for a clearance to enable him to play for Wigan Club, England, was discussed by his club, and the opinion was expressed that to allow an exodus of gom players would have a disastrous effect on the code here. Brown will be asked to appear before the senior members of his club, \vh< will make the final decision.
