DOMINION’S SHARE OF COST QUESTIONS IN HOUSE OF.. .. COMMONS (A. and N.Z.) LONDON, April 29. In the House of Commons Lord Erskine inquired if Australia and New Zealand had offered to contribute to the Singapore base, how much, and on what conditions. Mr Baldwin said: 1 ’As far as Australia is concerned I must refer you to Mr Bruce’s statement at the Imperial Conference.” He then outlinad Mr Coates’ recent announcement, without commenting on it.
