TOUR OF AUSTRALIA DEPARTURE FROM MELBOURNE. (A. and N.Z.) MELBOURNE, April 29. The Duke and Duchess of York, after > brief tour of the surrounding country, returned to Melbourne and left to-day for Adelaide, making a short stop at Ballarat en route. As a result of the Earl of Cavan’s advice, the South Australian programme has been materially shortened, several Adelaide engagements being deleted as the Duchess is suffering slightly from the strain of the tour.
