Mrs G. Holloway, formerly Miss Nancy Gibbs, of the orchestra at the Wanganui Opera House, was taken seriously ill yesterday while on a visit to i Wellington. A London message states that American official circles announce that Mr Frederick Sterling of the United States Embassy in London, has been appointed Minister to the Free State.
