A LARGE ESTATE

MANY LEGACIES PERSONAL ATTENDANTS RECEIVE SUBSTANTIAL SUMS. DUNEDIN, April 27. Air. J. C. The estate will probably be valued for the assessment of death duties at £170,000 or £lBO,OOO, but will be liable to a heavy deduction of not less than one-third for stamp duties, as most of the beneficiaries are strangers in blood to him within the meaning of the Death Duties Act.
