MUSSOLINI PILLORIED
OUTSPOKEN FEDERATION LEADER SOVIET AND FASCIST! MENACING AND PERNICIOUS INFLUENCES. WARNING TO UNIONISTS. Received Dec. 23, 11.15 p.m. WASHINGTON, Dec. 22. President Green, in a letter to foui million members of the American Fed eration of Labour, warns them against the menacing influences and pernicioui practices of both the Soviet of Russia and tho Fascist i of Italy within the United States, declaring: “Mussolini is not satisfied with lhe powers of dictation in Italy, where the sword has taken the place of reason, but he has extended the tentacles of Fascism to other countries.” Mr. Green warns Italian members of tho Federation and Italian residents generally of the organisations formed here, which discourage the naturalisation of Italians under a threat of persecuting their families in Italy if they disobey. Americans generally are urged to oppose Fascism propaganda as strongly as Communism.
