DUNEDIN EXHIBITION

SPECIAL POSTAGE STAMP. « (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Nov. 5. Specimens of the special postage stamp to be issued by the Post and Telegraph Department in connection with the New Zealand and South Seas International Exhibition, 1925-26, have now reached Dunedin. The design consists •£ a Maori border enclosing a view of the head of the Grand Court and the dome of the Festival Hall, and the hills beyond, with lettering and numerals below. Values are: Halfpenny, green; penny, red; fourpence, mauve. The stamps have been designed by the well-known artist H. Linley Richardson, R.8.A., Wellington. Mr Richardson was also the designer of the King George issue of New Zealand postage stamps and other stamps.
