SIR THOMAS BEECHAM EXTENSIVE BORROWING. LONDON, October 21. Sir Thomas Beecham, the well-known opera conductor, has been sued for £lO,OOO by a firm of money-lenders. Evidence was given that Sir Thomas Beecham had borrowed £40,000 from money-lenders this year. Sir Patrick Hastings, K.C.
