The whole of the telegraphic staff of Radio House, Marconi’s London terminal station, struck suddenly, supposedly as the result of notice being given on October 31 for termination of the services of nine telegraphists. STATEMENT BY STRIKERS. PROVINCIAL STAFFS TO BE CALLED OUT. Received November 3, 9.15 p.m. (Reuter). LONDON, Oct. 2. The Association of Wireless Cable Telegraphists, in a statement says the strike involves all Marconi’s London stations. Instructions have been given to provincial staffs to strike to-morrow. They declares that the management violated the agreement by declining directly to discuss the question of the dismissal of nine operators.
