COUNTRY LAID WASTE CROPS DESTROYED LONDON, Nov. 1. The ”Times’ ’” Sofia correspondent says that atrocities occurred in five villages. It is alleged by the Bulgarian Commission officially sent to report on territory occupied by the Greeks that the area resembles a desert. The Commis- ' sion declared that all cattle and other I animals and household belongings were | carried off, and the rich harvest of to- ] bacco, rice, and wheat wantonly destroyed. It is also alleged that portraits of King Boris were vulgarly mutilated.
