EX-KAISER’S LOST WEALTH
A CLAIM FOB, FIFTY MILLIONS. BERLIN, Nov. 1. The ex-Kaiser has demanded as compensation for losses owing to the war the restoration of all Crown estates including dozens of castles, crown jewels, two-thirds of the pictures, including Rembrandt and Ruben’s masterpieces in the Berlin museum, and the entire exhibits in the Schack gallery at Munich, also millions in cash. The total claims amount to fifty millions sterling. The Socialists urge shelving the question until the reparations are paid.
