MR. VEITCH AND LEADERSHIP
(To the Editor). Sir, —I see the evening paper brings forward the old gag about. Air Veitch being a. possible Minister of the Crown. Don’t anybody believe it. Mr Veitch has been 14 year# in the House and he doesn’t even lead a party. He was supposed to bo a co-leader with Air Wilford, and when Air Wilford went out Air Veitch should naturally htave stepped into his shoes. But his own party did not give him a hearing, but elected Air Forbes. It was an awful insult, and the evening paper never said a word in protest. Now they put. out the old gag that he is a potential Alinister. Tn tho new Parliament the Nationalists won’t have as many members as there are Reform Alinisters. Nuff said.—l am. etc., GONVILLE.
