ALLIANCE AND CANDIDATES

Sir, —In view of discussion and questions asked concerning the attitude of the New Zealand Alliance to candidates, the local executive desire to inform the public that the policy of tho New Zcukind Alliance at this election has been to address a set of questions to each candidate, and to publish the replies. This has been done, and tho Alliance asks electors to ttike into consideration the attitude of candidates to these questions, in casting their votes, but the Alliance has not nominated candidates in anv electorate. — We are, etc., E.
