CLEARING SALE AT BULLS
SATISFACTORY PRICES. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report having a very sucessfui clearing sale on account of Mr. R. C. S. McKenzie, at Parewanui, Bulls, on Wednesday. There was a good attendance and highly satisfactory prices were realised throughout. Wo quote:—2-th ewes with 75 per cent lambs, 48s Id; aged ewes and lambs, 41s 8d to 45s 6d; fat and forward ewes, 31s 6d; empty ewes, 245; empty 2-th ewes, 41s 6d; 2-th wethers, to 38s; hoggets, 27s (id to 35s 6d; 6-th S.D. rams, £5 ss; fat and forward bullocks, £l2; springing heifers, £3 15s to £6 17s 6d; fat and forward cows, £5 15s; dairy cows, to £6 ss; empty cows and heifers, 20s to 425; m.s. yearlings, 375. A large quantity of timber, implements and sundries sold well.
