NEW CEMENT WET PROCESS FOR N.Z.
Rumour is persistent that a new cement company is about to bo floated in New Zealand and the latest modern method of manufacture, known as the wet process, is going to be installed. Ro far all cement companies at present in operation in New Zealand are manufacturing cement by the older method, known as the dry process. The wet process is being adopted by tho latest cement plants in Australia, England, and America. It has been proved that the best cement is manufactured by the wet process and it is also claimed that the wet process is more economical as regards labour costs. The modern wet process must not bo confused with the old wet process in vogue many years ago-
