NINETEEN PEOPLE KILLED A DEFECTIVE RAIL. NEW YORK, October 26. Later news from Memphis reveals that there were 19 fatalities as the result of tho accident to the passenger train of ten cars which, when travelling at 50 miles an hour, plunged down a 25ft. embankment near Victoria. The wreck was caused by a defective rail.
