IRAQ DISPUTE
INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION TURKEY STANDS ALOOF THE HAGUE, Oct. 27. Turkey has telegraphed the International Court that the Government sees no reason for attending. Sir Douglas Hogg said that Britain regretted the absence of Turkish representatives because it was embarrassing to be deprived of Turkey’s Mosul arguments. Britain contended that the Treaty of Lausanne clearly stipulated that in the event of an Anglo-Turkish dispute regarding tho Iraq frontier, tho League Council’s decision should be binding.
