CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS. [Per Press Association.l TIMARU, Oct, 29. The Timaru Show concluded to-day in fine weather and with a very large attendance. The Governor-General was present and was entertained at luncheon on the show ground. He afterwards inspected the exhibits, with evident interest. Lady Fergusson presented the trophies at the close of the afternoon to the winners. Championships were awarded as follows: Draught stallion, D. Wilson’s imported Risque; draught mare, J. Patrick’s Beauty of Bath; Clydesdale Horse Society’s medal, J. M. Smith; fifty guinea cup for most points in Clydesdales, Andrew Grant. The hundred guinea Rhodes Hunt Challenge Cup was won by the South Canterbury Hunt.
