THE NEED OF A STRONG UNITED GOVERNMENT

(To the Editor). Sir, —Do you think the New Zea la ml papers are doing sufficient to point out. to the workers the dangerous doctrines of Bukhavin? The constant irritation strikes and job control will undermine the Empire, and the proof is positive that these things emanate from and are subsidised by Moscow money, and once the rot sets in, the workers will be the first to suffer, although all will suffer eventually. Fortunately when the need has been great the British worker (and New Zealand is true British) has always shown a healthy habit of Scotching the monster, as proved by the overwhelming majorities for the old Conservative Governments, which gave us all we have got, and built up the Empire. As in the recent elections in England and Newfoundland, and in tho issue therein, we can trust the New Zealand workers to do the right thing; but the difficulty may be that they may not realise what you have so concisely pointed out in your loader to-day. that “the Nationalists have become an excrescence on the body politic,” and one that, for tho safety of this fair country, should be removed.—l am, etc., ALL MY LIFE A WORKER. Wanganui, October 26, 1925.
