“BUTTERFLY” AT TOWN HALL TO-NIGHT. (From the “Chronicle’s” Special Correspondent.; A good break from fate sometimes comes to the relief of a director of motion pictures, but it is very infrequent that such breaks are encountered as that which came to the relief of Clarence Brown when, he was getting ready to begin filming of “Butterfly,” Uni-versal-Jewel Clarence Brown production, which will be screened at the Marton Town Hall to-night. “Butterfly” was adapted for the screen from the novel of the same name by Kathleen Norris. The book almost instantly became one of the “best sellers” and demand for it has continued heavy.
