HUNTERVILLE.
BOWLING (From, the “Chronicle’s” Special Correspondent). One rink from Huntervillo visited Marton on Wednesday for tho official opening of the green in that centre. The players spent a very enjoyable afternoon and report that the green was in first-class playing order. The result of their game was as follows:—Hunterville: Stevens, Chisholm, Greenwood, lowers, 32; St. John’s.* Harris, Bowling, Wight, Benefield, 12. THE BULB SHOW At a meeting of the Presbyterian Ladies’ Guild on Tuesday votes of thanks were accorded the Pipe Band and the Hunterville Orchestra, for their assistance at the recent bulb show. The balance sheet in connection with the show was read and disclosed that the venture had been an unqualified success.
