MOTOR LORRY DESTROYED
POLICE MAKING INQUIRIES [Per Press Association.] GISBORNE, October 21. A large motor lorry belonging to the Public Works Department was destroyed by fire at Pokawa, where it had been left on the road overnight. The evidence points to a passing motorist having disconnected a pipe and run off a supply of petrol from the lorry's tank. The police are investigating.
